“There is no standard normal. Normal is subjective. There are seven billion versions of normal on this planet.” – Matt Haig

Hello and welcome! Whether you are new to therapy or returning, know that you are not alone. Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship difficulties, a recent loss, or tough life transition. If you’re here, then you’ve chosen to take your first step on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Deciding to seek help is difficult and I want to personally congratulate you for your strength and courage.

Therapy is a process that requires tailoring to each unique individual. My therapy style is eclectic, collaborative, and person-centered: we will explore all aspects of your life and work together to find what’s most helpful for you. I use DBT and CBT skills to give my clients hands-on techniques that they can apply in the world. We will collaborate together to find solutions and ensure you leave our sessions feeling empowered and understood.

As someone with late-diagnosed ADHD who has been on their own therapeutic journey, I understand many of the unique difficulties and trauma that can come with having an ADHD brain. Many adults with ADHD struggle due to lack of acceptance, education, and social stigma that comes with the label. If you are interested in exploring further, I would love to chat with you about ADHD and resources available to you, to help you attain personal control and self-awareness.

I moved to Austin seven years ago and have worked with adults, couples, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including therapy practices, high schools, and juvenile detention centers. I work with clients on a variety of issues, including: trauma, family dynamics, relationship difficulties, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and more. Outside of Therapy Austin you can catch me climbing with friends, paddle-boarding, painting, cooking, jogging, or relaxing with my orange tabby cat Peaches! I also love exploring cool places around Austin with my partner.

If you are interested in working together, please feel free to reach out to me by phone at 512-201-4501 ext 315 or by filling out the appointment request form on our website.
