Are you looking for help with something – anxiety, depression, relationship issues, phase of life challenges or career shifts? Are you a couple that feels there is no way out, and the same fight continues to play out over and over? Whatever you are struggling with, you can bring it to our therapy work together. I have a passion for working with individuals and couples whose deeply ingrained beliefs and life scripts hold them back. Together, we will rewrite narratives that are in line with your desire to grow and reignite your authentic self expression, hopefulness, connection with others, and your life force.
In my practice, I value a psychodynamic and depth-oriented approach, which means that I approach healing by allowing what has been repressed, ignored, or denied to come forward. By delving into the depths of the psyche, we can work together to bring awareness to underlying dynamics and facilitate meaningful change and growth. I also work from an existential and feminist perspective that allows me to help clients explore questions of meaning, purpose, and freedom within a society that has structural limits and power dynamics. By bringing awareness to the systems that are out of our control, we can focus on taking accountability for only the things we CAN control. I support clients in navigating existential dilemmas and finding their own unique path towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I also incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my practice, providing clients with practical skills to manage emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and build resilience. By combining mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness techniques, I empower clients to cope with difficult emotions and navigate complex situations more effectively.
Overall, my integrated approach aims to support clients in gaining deeper self-understanding, developing healthy coping strategies, exploring existential questions, and navigating the complexities of their lives within a framework that is empowering, compassionate, and socially conscious.
