No matter what you’re coming to therapy for, my goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space for you to find clarity so you can thrive. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so my approach isn’t either. By using a blend of therapeutic modalities like narrative therapy, inner child work, somatic experiencing, and feminist and attachment theories, I have many tools at my disposal to help you process and heal in ways that best meet your needs.
I know that growth can be hard, and navigating our thoughts and emotions can bring all kinds of challenges; I place a big emphasis on building mutual trust so that together, we can dive deep and help you find healing. Most of all, you should know I find great joy in being a cheerleader for your personal growth. I work with individuals who are experiencing big life changes, carrying grief, dealing with chronic illness, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety, and navigating interpersonal relationships of all kinds. I strive to be inclusive and affirming of all identities.
After spending most of my life in Austin, I earned my bachelor’s in sociology from Siena College in Albany, NY, while completing four years of undergraduate AmeriCorps service, working primarily in domestic violence and veteran homelessness services. I will finish my master’s degree in mental health counseling from St. Edward’s University in May 2025.
Outside of being a therapist, I am a very active board member at the Girls Empowerment Network. You may find me in fun workout classes throughout the city, at the airport for a trip, brainstorming home projects, trying out the best restaurants with my husband, and obsessing over our tiny yorkie, Scooter.
