Courtney Caudill, LMSW

Supervised by Shannyn Vicente, LCSW-S

Senior Counselor
Specialized in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Sorry! Courtney is not accepting new clients at this time.

Congratulations on taking the time to choose Therapy Austin to invest in yourself, and your overall well-being. Whether you’re seeking therapy for the first time or reconnecting, I provide client-centered services, in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental atmosphere. I believe that most humans can benefit from therapy at some point, or points, in a lifetime. Therapy should be a safe space for you to explore and express yourself. I will meet you where you are, and support you in developing the skills you want to obtain, or maintain, for a life(style) that feels good on and for you – as determined by no one but you.

I have over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field. I’ve worked with a broad array of mental health needs, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, ADHD, CPTSD, crisis intervention & stabilization, and substance misuse. I’m trained in and provide trauma-informed care for individuals, within an applied family & community systems framework. I am lgbtqia+ & POC-affirming, and sex-positive. I’m most recently been certified in ACT Therapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), which engages clients in mindfulness and self-compassion-based techniques.

I have been a social worker since 2001. In that time, I’ve worked with an array of clients in various agency settings. I moved to Texas (Austin) in 2006, and I’ve been licensed as an LMSW since 2007. My education, training, and professional career are entirely specialized in mental health. I’m a longtime advocate for destigmatizing mental health, and I support your decision to invest your time and energy in therapy. I’m excited you’re here!

When I’m not social working hard, I enjoy spending time soaking up Austin’s amazing live music, sunshine on the trails, obligatory dips in pools or springs, and time with my 2 bully pups.
