Starting therapy is one of the most powerful decisions a person can make. Although the healing journey can sometimes feel scary, wavering, or uncomfortable, I want you to know that you are not walking alone. I am here to walk alongside you as you uncover your true, authentic self and work toward becoming the version of you that’s always been inside, waiting to emerge. While I walk beside you, I will give you tools that make this journey easier to navigate, especially amidst any challenging paths you may encounter. I am here, ready to help you as far or near as you need me to be.
Some things about myself are that I am a 5th-generation Mexican-American from South Texas, and I come from a blended family, which has shaped my understanding of familial relationships and identity complexities. I was diagnosed with ADHD at an early age, and having the privilege of receiving a diagnosis early on allowed me to gain a deeper awareness of my neurodivergence. This experience has given me a unique perspective that I can bring into my work with clients, particularly in supporting individuals who may also be neurodivergent and facing various difficulties with work, school, relationships, etc.
I believe in showing up authentically for my clients, and my approach is rooted in empathy and a strong belief in each person’s ability to create a more positive path. I’ve developed a strong understanding of client patterns, and I do well with helping clients identify and understand the deeper motivations behind their behaviors. I value the therapeutic relationship and make it a priority to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore the past and the present with curiosity and openness.
