You’re doing your best—whether as a partner, a parent, or just trying to keep life together but lately, it feels like you’re barely holding on. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, feeling distant from those you love, or stuck in old patterns that don’t serve you anymore. You want things to feel different, but it’s hard to know where to start.
You don’t have to carry this alone. Therapy can be a safe space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself. A place to pause, understand what’s really going on beneath the surface, and find a clearer, kinder way to move forward.
I support individuals, couples, and families who are feeling stuck and want healthier relationships with themselves, their partners or family members. Clients who seek my care often struggle with overthinking, feel overwhelmed, and unmotivated, are weighed down by past experiences, are stretched thin as a parent or caregiver, or struggle to feel connected in their relationships. My clients often feel stuck in their own thoughts, as if they are always trying to hold things together in their relationships, losing patience with the people in their lives, even though they deeply care, or keeping everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling inside.
In my practice, clients find that I support open and balanced communication at a pace that feels right for them, as we explore what is really going on underneath the surface and move toward feeling more grounded and connected. I bring a calm and compassionate presence to my clients, meeting them with curiosity and a collaborative approach. My clients increase their ability to access and understand their deeper emotions, guiding them to uncover what they truly need and feel. This process fosters greater self-awareness and empowers them to build more authentic, fulfilling relationships—both with themselves and others.
Through our work together, my clients begin to understand the deeper emotions that drive their reactions and relationships. As they get more in touch with these emotions, they gain clarity about what matters most to them and start making choices that feel more honest and aligned with who they are. I support each person in a way that fits their unique story—whether that means working through past pain, improving communication, setting boundaries, or building stronger, more connected relationships. The tools I use depend on what each client needs, but the goal is always the same: to help them feel more at peace, clearer about their path, and more connected to the people and moments that matter most.
A bit about me: I’m originally from Trinidad and Tobago and now call Austin home. I studied Psychology and Communication in Toronto and later earned my Master’s at St. Edward’s University. Outside of therapy, I spend time with my family, volunteer with a nonprofit supporting a rare genetic disorder inspired by my son, and recharge by being near water or connecting with friends.
Reaching out to a therapist can be the first step toward a more peaceful and fulfilling life. I’d be honored to support you as you work toward more compassion, understanding, and connection in your relationships—whether with yourself, partners, or those who matter most.
