Pamela "Pam" Poulter, LPC Associate
Supervised by Timothy Coulter, LPC-S
I am Pam Poulter, and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, my goal is to create an environment that supports safety, acceptance, and empathy for both adolescents and adults. Therapy doesn’t have to be a scary or dark place. It can be a place for growth and self reflection to gain insight into your unique life experience, and can also be a place to laugh and think in a safe space. At the same time, therapy opens up the opportunity to be vulnerable with yourself, and you don’t have to be alone in this experience.
My approach to therapy is one that celebrates each individual’s diverse experience through adapting the therapeutic process to meet the holistic needs of the client. I encourage conversations that celebrate feedback and connection. I work with both adolescents and adults that may be experiencing hard emotions or stressful circumstances and together work towards reaching that client’s goals.
In my free time, I like to binge reality tv and practice yoga to practice balance. Additionally, I enjoy engaging in mindfulness practices, spending time with friends, and playing with my dog.
