Erin Lester, LPC Associate
Hello and welcome! I’m Erin Lester, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and I’m glad you’re here! I work with adolescents and adults who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by mood challenges. As this sounds like most of us, I aim to help people develop a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves.
My work is deeply informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), a gentle and empowering approach that views all of us as having different “parts” inside. Like the part of you that worries, the part that gets overwhelmed, or the part that works hard to keep everything together. These parts aren’t problems to get rid of; they’re trying to help, even when their strategies no longer feel helpful. Together, we’ll explore these parts with compassion, helping you connect with your core Self. This is the calm, wise, and resilient part of you that’s already there. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to build trust within yourself. Our work may include learning how to soothe stress, better understand your emotions, and respond to life’s challenges with more clarity and self-compassion. Therapy isn’t about fixing you…it’s about helping you reconnect with your inherent strengths and inner wisdom.
As part of the Therapy Austin team, I bring a genuine commitment to ongoing self-reflection, learning, and mindful self-compassion. If you’re ready to explore your inner world with curiosity and care, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward greater balance, healing, and fulfillment.
