Kalliope Brewer,
“When you make a world tolerable for yourself, you make a world tolerable for others.” – Anaïs Nin
Welcome to Therapy Austin!
It isn’t always easy to ask for help, so thank you for taking the first step toward getting the support you deserve. You may feel lost, stuck, alone, overwhelmed, or like you are living in a world that wasn’t made for you. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship distress, discrimination, identity exploration, or neurodivergence, I’m here to provide a welcoming space where you can simply be you.
My goal is to foster a warm, judgment-free environment for you to explore your story, find peace, heal, and gather tools to help make the change you want to see in your life. Although we cannot change the past, it is never too late to start taking control of our future.
I’ve been studying psychology for about 10 years now. I earned my BS in Psychology from the University of Houston-Downtown, and I’m currently working toward earning my MA in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. As a marriage and family therapist in training, I love working with all sorts of people, from individuals to couples to families. Using a compassionate, relational, and client-centered approach, I work with folks facing a variety of challenges – or maybe you’re not exactly sure what you’re struggling with, and you just want someone to walk with you as you navigate life’s stressors.
Ready to take the next step? You don’t have to do it alone. Let’s start this journey together.
