“Trauma creates change you don’t choose. Healing is about creating change you do choose.” -Michelle Rosenthal

I’m so glad you’re here and taking the brave step toward healing. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but it’s a powerful act of self-care and growth. In our work together, we’ll collaborate to uncover the layers of your life and experiences that have shaped who you are today. My goal is to create a supportive, open space where you can explore yourself with honesty and compassion, empowering you to make the changes you seek.
With my training in trauma-informed care and expertise in EMDR, CBT, ACT, and DBT, I help clients explore how their backgrounds—whether it be immigration, cultural differences, or family upbringing—shape their life experiences and relationships. Growing up in Thailand and experiencing immigration has given me a unique understanding of how these early influences, family dynamics, and cultural factors impact who we are today. Through our work together, we’ll explore how these factors show up in your current patterns and relationships, and how they may define aspects of your identity.
My background includes a Master’s degree in Human Development and Counseling, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a minor in Yoga, which informs my holistic approach to therapy. I draw from both psychological principles and mindful, body-based practices to help clients build awareness and coping strategies for managing their emotional experiences. We will focus not only on emotional and cognitive processes but also on how the body holds onto past trauma. Together, we’ll work to build a deeper connection with your body, helping you release what no longer serves you.
In addition to trauma recovery, I specialize in working with individuals facing addiction challenges. Whether it’s substance use or other behavioral patterns, I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to explore the roots of these struggles and work together toward healing. My training in various therapeutic modalities allows me to tailor the approach to each individual’s needs, empowering them to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Therapy offers an opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself and explore the parts of you that need healing and growth. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive space where you can express yourself fully. My approach is rooted in anti-oppression, anti-racism, and LGBTQIA+ affirmation, ensuring that our work together is grounded in respect and understanding.
If you’re ready to start this transformative journey, I invite you to reach out and take the first step toward positive change.
