Our lives can often feel like a juggling act — work deadlines, relationship tensions, family expectations, the pressure to have it all together. The world we live in can feel both overwhelming and lonely, even when you’re surrounded by people. You may be wondering how to slow down, reconnect with yourself, or just breathe again without guilt, burnout, anxiety, or depression.
Congratulations on taking the first step of your healing journey. In our work together, we can explore what’s underneath the patterns that keep you stuck and help relieve the heavy weight you carry. My approach with clients is compassionate, collaborative, and always genuine. The space we create will be a place for you to practice self-compassion, try out new ways of relating to yourself, and feel truly listened to and understood.
I draw on techniques from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and emotionally-focused therapy with individuals and couples navigating big transitions, cultural identity, or burnout from high-pressure environments. Therapy with me is trauma-informed, which means we’ll move at your pace and pay attention to how your body, emotions, and history are all connected. I also deeply value the identities, cultures, and histories you bring into the room and I am BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
Outside of sessions I’m going for walks, sweating through HIIT classes, doing yoga, eating at some of Austin’s tastiest restaurants, and laughing loudly about something (often myself).
