Daniela Castano, LPC
“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” – Jennifer Dukes Lee
Hi there! My name is Daniela. I’m glad you found your way to my page today.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, isolated, stuck, or simply ready to embark on a journey of growth and self-discovery. Regardless of the reason you’re seeking therapy today, the act of being open and authentic with your innermost thoughts and feelings, including your desires, your fears, and your past experiences, can be an incredibly daunting, intimate, and vulnerable experience. My hope is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you feel free to fully express yourself.
I believe every individual possesses a rich well of inner wisdom, and my aim as your therapist is to help you uncover this inner wisdom, and draw upon your strengths, so that you can overcome life’s challenges with greater awareness, compassion, and curiosity.
I know change can be difficult, especially when it comes to breaking old, familiar patterns of coping that are not always helpful. But you don’t have to navigate this terrain alone. The foundation of healing starts with a strong therapeutic relationship, and I strive to meet you where you are in your journey.
I use an integrative approach that draws from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, parts work, and humanistic/existential approaches when working with clients. I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds, and my areas of focus are anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and life transitions.
A little about me: In addition to therapy, I have assisted in providing hundreds of neuropsychological assessments under the supervision of licensed psychologists, so I have extensive knowledge and experience working with neurodivergent individuals. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband and young son, and off-leash hiking with my golden retriever.
If you think we’d be a good fit, please reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
