“What we don’t need in the midst of struggle is shame for being HUMAN.” – Brené Brown
Hello and welcome!
My name is Kaylee, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take this first step in your therapeutic journey. Understandably, you might be feeling nervous, unsure, or even intimidated as you begin this process. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or trying to better understand yourself, I am here to support you in creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood.
My therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. In other words, I focus on creating a genuine, authentic connection where you feel seen, understood, and respected as a whole person. I approach therapy with curiosity and humility, holding space for your unique identity, lived experience, and the broader systems that shape your life and health. We will work together to better understand what you are going through in a way that feels meaningful and true to you. You are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to meet you where you are, on both the easier and more difficult days.
I strive to help my clients feel more grounded, build greater self-awareness and understanding, and feel more connected and fulfilled in their lives. I believe that real change happens when you feel truly heard and understood. I show up with care, empathy, openness, and respect. Our relationship will be at the center of our work and I will always honor your boundaries, autonomy, and goals while we navigate challenging thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I hope therapy will be a space where you can take time to make sense of things and move toward the best version of you.
Whenever you are ready to take the next step, I would love the opportunity to connect and see if working together feels right for you.
