“Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” Eleanor Roosevelt
Hello, fellow journeyer, and welcome! I commend you for taking a step forward in discovering your joy, your resilience, and how certain challenging events are impacting your innate value. Are you at a crossroads, or have you experienced a life event that may affect your ability to show up and be present with yourself and with your important relationships? If so, let’s talk. I would be honored to get to know you better.
I am trained as an art therapist and invite you into a space where together we can foster safety, leverage your strengths, and allow me to bear witness to your struggles. You are naturally creative and bring your own unique expressiveness. Sometimes words aren’t enough, and your story is a sum of different parts. Do you enjoy doodling, drawing, or painting, writing poetry or music, dancing, dabbling in spoken word, or perhaps you appreciate other sensory experiences, such as sifting through sand, popping bubble wrap, crocheting, sewing, or the smell of a good book as you flip through its pages? Whatever that looks like, I encourage you to embrace what feels right for you in the moment.
Some of life’s memorable moments can have lasting effects on our well-being and influence our day-to-day. We are living in a unique time, and we all have experienced feelings of disappointment and loss. Whether it’s due to isolation from your support, a close friend or family member who passed away, adapting to work-from-home life, or social justice issues, we can navigate these struggles together. I welcome the opportunity to work with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and parents.
I enjoy traveling, discovering new restaurants, and raising our two young kids with my partner. I appreciate the creative process and have a background in painting and drawing. More recently, I’ve experimented with performance art that combines music, movement, and spoken word.
My professional memberships include:
