“Take it easy. Don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy.” – The Eagles
Hey there,
Congratulations on taking another step forward. Reaching out and getting to know yourself better can be intimidating, but every worthwhile journey begins one step at a time.
We all feel stuck sometimes. Therapy is a safe space for you to take a deep breath, process your struggles, and pick a new pathway that works for you. Together, we can work to get un-stuck and discover what comes next, whether that means learning to make peace with the past or building new skills to handle today’s stressors. You control where we go and how fast, I will be there to help you navigate new roads or dead-ends.
I work with adults who are navigating all sorts of challenges, from managing anxiety and rumination to embracing personal identity or life changes. My practice is grounded in flexible approaches that are designed to work in therapy and out in the real world, and I believe humor and self-compassion are skills we can grow.
A little about me: I’m originally from Michigan and have called Austin home for over a decade. I have a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University in Peoria, IL, and have experience working with adults, couples, and groups both in-person and online. I previously worked as a corporate recruiter in arts and media, which means I always want to hear about your new passion project or nerdy obsession.
