Rudy Garza, LPC Associate

Supervised by Brandy Mounts, LPC-S

You’ve probably been considering this step for a while, so kudos for being here! Here’s the deal: Life is hard, and full of problems interfering with where you want to be. Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling through a difficult time, or just need a change, you’re here because you could use some extra help in finding your way. If you’re ready to take the next step toward a better future, you’re in the right place.

I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable to be your true self and work toward your goals. My work is conversational and natural, with a dash of humor. I believe connecting with you as a person rather than a patient will allow us to develop a genuine relationship where we can trust each other and the work we do together. I also believe the most effective therapy is a collaborative one. It’s not just what I bring to the table, it’s about co-creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and involved in the therapeutic process.

I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more. Fancy theories aside, my approach is tailored to your individual needs and goals, as well as your unique background and story. My goal is to help you move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. When you’re ready, I’m here to help.

Some of the struggles I work with include: depression, anxiety, stress, life-transitions (work, school, breakups, etc.), anger management, work/school issues, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, feeling stuck, family conflict, and more.
