Amy Berlin is supervised by Maggie Behle, LCSW-S

Hi, I’m Amy Berlin, LMSW. I’m so glad you’re here and considering this step toward a more fulfilling, empowered life.

In our work together, you’ll find a warm, non-judgmental space where your strengths, voice, and goals take center stage. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership—rooted in empathy, respect, and trust—where you are always in the lead. My aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel safe to explore, express, and grow.

With over 20 years of experience as a massage therapist and decades of work in the music industry, I like to curate individual sessions with a holistic approach. I have a deep respect for the mind-body connection and believe this is an important dimension to explore in the healing process. These experiences have taught me the importance of listening—not just with the mind, but with the whole body—and have shaped my belief that true healing often involves integrating both physical and emotional awareness.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem or navigating major life transitions, I’m here to help you uncover your inner resources and build resilience. I believe deeply in each person’s capacity for growth and healing, and I work at your pace, honoring your unique journey every step of the way.

My approach draws from a range of evidence-based practices, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and strength-based techniques. These tools are designed to help you better understand the mind-body connection, shift harmful thought patterns, build effective coping strategies, and cultivate a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

I am deeply committed to cultural humility and lifelong learning, continuously working to better understand how your individual cultural background and life experiences shape your mental health journey. I welcome and encourage feedback throughout our work together to ensure you always feel seen, heard, and respected.

Thank you for considering working with me. It would be an honor to support you in creating a life rooted in self-love, resilience, and meaningful growth.
