Womyn's Process Group

The Womyn’s Process Group is a supportive, insight-oriented space designed for adult individuals who identify as women and are seeking a safe place to explore deeper self-understanding, emotional growth, and healthier interpersonal relationships. This group focuses on the here-and-now experience, helping members examine how they relate to themselves and others within a supportive environment.

Through this process, members gain awareness of relational patterns, practice new ways of communicating, and receive feedback and support from other women with diverse perspectives. The group emphasizes authenticity, mutual respect, emotional expression, and curiosity about the impact individuals have on one another.

Common themes explored include: relationship challenges, family dynamics, self-esteem, identity, body image, boundary setting, stress, anxiety, life transitions, empowerment, increasing one’s voice, and the impact of past experiences on present behaviors and relationships. This group is ideal for women who are open to exploration, willing to reflect on their emotions and behaviors, and interested in personal and relational growth.

About the Facilitator:

Amy Berlin brings a unique and grounded presence to her work as a group facilitator. With a background in social work and over two decades of experience as a massage therapist and musician, Amy holds space with both deep empathy and a creative spirit. She has led a wide variety of groups, including meditation circles, women’s groups, music circles for individuals experiencing homelessness, and DBT skills groups in psychiatric settings. Amy believes that group therapy is one of the most powerful ways to explore how we show up in the world—offering space to reflect, grow, and build trust in the presence of others. Her approach emphasizes safety, honesty, and connection, helping participants foster long-term, supportive relationships both within the group and beyond it.

Monday Night Process Group Therapy

Where: Virtual

Cost: $60 per session

This is a supportive space for connection, reflection, and growth.

This weekly adult process group offers a warm and welcoming environment where members can explore how they relate to others, build deeper self-awareness, and gain meaningful insight into their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Unlike individual therapy, group therapy provides a unique opportunity to learn and grow within a community — a real-time “laboratory” for noticing patterns, practicing new ways of connecting, and receiving honest, compassionate feedback.
In this group, we talk about the things that matter most — from navigating relationships and career challenges to exploring family dynamics and identity. Whatever you’re bringing into the room, you’ll find support, curiosity, and space to be fully yourself. Group therapy is also an accessible and affordable way to develop lasting emotional resources, build interpersonal skills, and create meaningful connections with others.

There is no “right” way to mourn, and no one can fully know another’s pain. But here, you don’t have to carry it alone. Whether your loss is recent or something you’ve been living with for years, you are welcome. Together, we honor those we’ve lost, make space for the wide range of emotions grief can bring, and support one another as we learn to navigate life after loss.
