Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re new to therapy or are jumping back in, I know it can be – well, a lot. I recognize the courage it took for you to get here and I’d welcome the chance to join you on your journey.
I strive to create a safe, non judgmental space where we can dig into the work together. I’m a naturally curious person who’s genuinely excited to get to know you and hear your story. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, dealing with depression, or are trying to better understand yourself, together we can create a space where your inner-wisdom shines through. You already know so much about what you need to heal and I want to help you uncover it.
You can expect some mindfulness sprinkled into our work as well as some neuroscience and nervous system regulation. Slowing down our minds and allowing ourselves to notice what the heck is going on in our bodies, can really help us better understand ourselves and start making positive changes. I also practice from a social justice lens, helping us realize how the larger oppressive systems in our world impact our mental wellness.
A little about me, I’m a Midwestern-transplant that arrived in Austin about nine years ago. I went to The Ohio State University for my undergrad and worked in non-profits for the last 14 years before deciding to get my masters in counseling. In my free time, you can find me in my kitchen or garden, spending time with friends, on the dancefloor, or voraciously reading a fantasy novel while snuggled up with my cat. I love to travel and spend time in nature – especially camping and hiking in a forest.
If you think we’d be a good fit, please reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
